Who we are

PosIQ is an independent portfolio analytics service operated by an individual trading as “PosIQ”. PosIQ is not affiliated with or endorsed by Trading 212. Contact: posiq.app@gmail.com.

What we collect

Beta applications. When you email us to join the private beta we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include (name, account-type interest, feedback willingness). We use it only to run the beta programme.

Account data (once the app launches). An account will store your email, a securely hashed password, and settings. We never store card numbers — payments are handled by our payment provider on their own systems.

Brokerage data (once the app launches). If you connect a Trading 212 account, you provide a read-only API credential. It is encrypted at rest using envelope encryption with a managed key service, decrypted only at the moment of an API request, and never written to logs. PosIQ reads positions, prices and account history that you authorise — nothing more. You can disconnect at any time, which deletes the stored credential; we also recommend revoking the key at Trading 212.

What we never do

• We never sell or rent your personal data.
• We never place trades or move funds — the access we request cannot do so.
• We never store your brokerage credential in plain text.

Cookies

This landing site sets no cookies. The application, once live, will use only essential cookies (session sign-in) — no advertising or cross-site tracking.

Data retention & deletion

Beta correspondence is kept for the duration of the beta programme. Once accounts exist, you may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us; billing records required by law are retained for the statutory period.

Where data lives

PosIQ runs on cloud infrastructure (currently Google Cloud). Transport is HTTPS-only.

Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. Email posiq.app@gmail.com and we will respond.
